About the Course

Welcome aboard students!
This is our blog to support our English learning inside and outside of the class. Literally, it has two goals as follows:

In the first place, this blog supports online materials related to learning subjects. The materials can be the in-class topic discussion or any additional materials. Possibly, there are also my opinions on those topics.

In the second place, this blog also benefits students to have prior knowledge before the class. They can brainstorm in advance, so we may have lively discussion during class interaction. If any student unfortunately may not able to attend the class, they still can catch up the materials from home. However, they must request the details to their classmates or lecturers in the next meeting.

By using this blog as the support of our learning, we may gain more effectiveness and efficiency in teaching and learning. In the long run, we may have less time in learning for more knowledge.

In terms of grading, you may have take a look on these 3 issues:
  • Proportion for grading evaluation
1. In-class contribution; 10%
2. Attendance: 10% (*)
3. Assignment: 20%
4. Mid Test: 30%
5. Final Test: 30%
  • Attendance (*)
Every student is obliged to attend the classes for at least 75% of the total number of meeting. Normally, the total number of meeting is 12 meetings. In this case, students must attend the classes at least 9 meetings.
  • Leaving a class
If any students cannot attend the class for a reason, they have to permit to the lecturer by either handing in supporting letters, documents or sending text messages. The ones who are fail to fulfill those requirements will be considered as abstain.
